Molzym hat eine Kooperationsvereinbarung mit der Firma Nordiag ASA aus Oslo über die Entwicklung einer automatisierten Plattform für die molekulare Sepsisdiagnostik geschlossen. Im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit wird Molzym Nordiags Bead-basiertes System zur Isolierung von Erreger-DNA aus Vollblut einsetzen. „Die Automatisierung ist ein wichtiger Schritt zur Senkung der Gesamtprozesskosten der Sepsisdiagnostik, wir haben Nordiag aufgrund der hervorragenden Technologie und der Kompatibilität zu unserer ultra-sensitiven Probenvorbereitung gewählt“, sagt Dr. Jan Detmers, Geschäftsführer von Molzym. „Dies wird unsere Umsatzpotentiale steigern.“, so Mårten Wigstøl, CEO von Nordiag.
