Molzym is committed to producing innovative solutions for the molecular analysis of pathogens. Our developmental research team is particularly focused on new enzymes and processes facilitating and enhancing the molecular diagnosis of diseases caused by microorganisms.

Among Molzym‘s latest products are pre-analytic kits and diagnostic reagents and assays for the monitoring of bacterial agents of septic disease. The pre-analytic kits, MolYsis, are for the enrichment of bacterial DNA from whole blood, blood culture and other body fluids. Molzym‘s DNA-free reagents for PCR analysis add to a package of products for assaying pathogens in blood. A variety of products offers the opportunity to set up individual approaches to accurate results, without false signaling, in bacterial pathogen detection.

The product portfolio ranges from DNA-free Taq DNA polymerase, Mol-Taq 16S, various DNA-free mastermix designs and Mastermix 16S product series to a 16S rDNA based mastermix, Mastermix 16S Primer.

For routine pathogen diagnosis, SepsiTest™ combines innovative technologies for bacterial and yeast DNA isolation and universal rDNA detection in one kit.

If specific solutions are requested, Molzym offers a service for the purification of customized mastermixes. Molzym is always open to any collaboration directed to the development of individualized pre-analytic and analytic adaptations, including automated DNA isolation.
